Hi Eva, I have enjoyed reading what you posted on the Certified Teachers course. I am taking it this time round and am really enjoying it.
I read your bio and was so impressed as I too, fall into the category of a more mature teacher. 🙂 I am from a small town outside Toronto but have taught in Beijing for the past seven years.
It is terrific to find someone from the Baby Boom generation who is accessing and learning all about technology. I so often feel all alone. 🙂
I also learned to type on a portable, manual typewriter. I didn’t type well enough to qualify to use one of the two electric typewriters in the classroom. How far I have come.
If you get a chance I would love to hear from a fellow Canadian walking this journey. I have just finished my Masters through Walden in Technology so i think a PhD may be not on the horizon but I love the other courses that you took through Athabasca.
